A few minutes ago Peter Joyce of Al Jazeera America tv stopped by to look at a tender that a friend keeps at my farm. We talked a bit and he told me a story about some friends that bought some older BMWs and rode from Kansas (or was it Arizona) to California and had a great time touring on their old bikes. It was both interesting and encouraging to hear. I told him my plans and he thought it would make a great adventure....soon the conversation turned back to sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
I love sailing the bay.
